Summer Time Shine

Man these past few days have been soo EVENTFUL!! Today I finally beat my friend Berjae at Dutch Blitz or what we called “Blitzkrieg” and I’m so happy. Stacking is now officially my favorite past time. Other than be extremely hot today, a swim in our well known neighbour Tim’s pool was so needed. I suggest you all go and make friends with a neighbor that has a pool, unless that is you have your own, and then in that case I guess your square. The only bad thing about swimming is, I hate getting my hair wet This unfortunately dose not stop BERJAE and other friends from trying to get me wet or submerge me in the water. If they only knew what I had to go through once I got home, which they do because I tell them every time haha.....*sigh* MAD. I’m just happy that finally our neighbourhood summer plans have fallen into place. I have been rockin this lace top quite a lot this summer already, and it has now fallen into my staple group. I simply love how it feels so free and flowy, if this is word, every time I wear it.

Mint Sorbet

I found this mint vest at Value Village and every time I look at it or put it on, I feel like playing in the park. Then after running around like a kid, the Dickie Dee should come around the corner chiming, and bring me a fudge sickle. The colour of this vest is so YUMMY, and the feeling of it just make me want to yell WHOOPIE!! I really love the look of pastel colours on my skin.

Spring Has Sprung

"Spring has sprung , the grass is GRIZZ , I wonder where the birdies is?"

GUYS, I saw a worm on the ground on my way to school yesterday. Although I was very scared, a smile coundn't help but slide across my face =D . It was the first day of spring and the weather could not have been more nice. Don't get me wrong, it was still chilly but nothing a scarf couldn't fix. I went down town yesterday to replace my earphones that have finally reached their end. There comes a point where twisting the ear phone cord around in differet directions, in order to pick up the faintess bit of sound, just doesn't cut it anymore. As I strolled through the streets of Windsor, a crazy man approached me - as expected. He mumbled the words " you want me to take it", as in a picture, in a crazy high pitched voice followed by a laugh. I gave a blank stare and as he walked away still laughing. There is one thing about downtown I love though, you always leave laughing. I did end up finding some ear phones , but they didn't end up being any better than the ones I had. So far I don't have to do any twisting and turning, so it's all good HAHA.

After school, I decided to tag along for a taxi ride downtown to my cousins house. The ride was quite pleasant because the cab driver would jump in every now and again to our conversations, adding his two cents every time. Minutes after we arrived, I decided it was time for me to go home and start on my English essay. I know you may be thinking; she just got there! But I had to go or else I’d never leave. It was such a beautiful day that my cousin Stepahanie and her sister Giselle said that they would accompany me to the down town bus terminal. On the way, we walked through this pathway that just reminded me of fall. Being my favorite season and all, I had to stop and take a few pictures. As you can see, the moment was captured beautifully.

*I LOVE FALL*

Some Like It HOT!

While I was in Atlanta, I was able to attend my first All American BBQ with my best friend Breanne. To ice the sugar on the cake it was on Fourth Of July! What better combination than to be surrounded by good people and good food. It was so fun and the house, or should I say estate, I went to was B E AU T I F U L . They had their own lake which had a bridge and swan paddle boats. It was sooo cute. Also, the scenery was great for picture taking. I figured my high-waisted, vintage shorts and floral-patterned top was best was suited for this happy occasion.

GEORGIA on My Mind

PhotobucketShirt-H&M, Belt-VINTAGE, Pants-VINTAGE, Shoes- ALDO, Bag-VINTAGE, Watch-VINTAGE

Hey guys! So I know I haven't posted in a while, but thats only because I was in *drum roll please* ATLANTA!!!! Ya, I know, fun right?! Well the reason I went so far around the world was because of a conference that is held every 5 years, called GC or General Conference. People from all over the world come and gather together to spread the word of God and share ministry updates.

The weather was absolutely amazing , thank the Lord. The week before we got there, it was sweltering, so I was really glad that it toned down and that there was freezing cold air conditioning in the conference buildings. Hot or not, that didn't stop me from wearing my long trousers and blouse to keep the fashion going.

This was honestly one of the best weekends/road trips of my life; I thank my best friend Breanne for suddenly springing this on me. I couldn't believe that I was in the state where the CNN headquarters is, and my MAIN MAN Anderson Cooper (drool) spends his days and nights. Even though my dream of walking into CNN and looking at his face on the wall, and maybe receiving a free poster that could have been lying around from a desperate secretary awaiting his arrival was crushed, I still have memories of things I saw that I previously could only see through my TV.

Like CASCADE for instance. Yup, thats right, the famous Cascade Roller Rink from the movie ATL. I even saw where Ant "got cutty last night" XD. All in all, it was a great trip and I enjoyed every bit of it. I hope to one day return there and stay a little bit longer. I will continue to post other pictures from my trip so make sure you stay tuned. =D

After taking a few photos yesterday, I slipped into something comfy to run few errands. It was so hot outside, but yet it had a little breeze, so dressed to fit the weather. I wore my genie-style, high waisted pants and a thin strap v-neck with a cardi. To top it off, I added my vintage, purple pumps and cross-shoulder bag.

I bought this really nice dress from Mendocino a couple of weeks ago, and I really wanted it to have a more a casual look. I decided to dress it down with a jean jacket and some Keds. A vintage bag never hurt anyone so I threw that on to. I love anything with a sweetheart neckline and in this particular dress it adds a ballerina-esque sort of style, along with it being tiered. This is one dress I'll definitely be wearing a lot this summer.
